Background
In the late summer of 2021, I was asked by a friend to create a logo for his new calisthenics club. This club was created to encourage new people into calisthenics. At the same time, the city of Lüdinghausen was building a calisthenics park, where all people can train. This Park was finished in the early fall of 2021. The club is called Lüdinghausen Calisthenics and should be abbreviated with the letters LHX. These were the only requirements, so I was very free in the logo design.

Outcome
At first glance at the logo, you should immediately recognize the connection to the sport of calisthenics. That's why I built three pull-up bars into the logo. The slant of the bars is also reflected in the lettering, making the word and figurative mark easily recognizable together. In addition, the name of the club is written out under. To be able to recognize the logo well in small I have created another version without the long name. Another version exists to print this Logo on t-shirts and sweaters. For this I have taken the figurative mark and the full name is written around it. This is also recognizable from far away, so everybody knows which club it is.
